Sometimes Father Christmas listens, but doesnt always say yes. I was told this when I prayed for a bike and I didn't get one. I said that God hadn't listened, I was told he had, but I just hadn't heard his answer!!!

Saying that Buzz was one of the best pressies we bought last year, he is always played with and with TS 3 on the way he will be again!

Is it a case that Buzz Lightyear can't be found, can't be afforded or just isn't wanted?

Snaffles has been convinced he has other things from Santa as opposed to the bike he is actually getting.

I suggested to him that maybe santa could bring his best friend T a bike and then wouldnt it be nice if he had a bike too and then they could play together. He soon came round to the idea.

It's good for them to learn early on that sometimes Santa Claus thinks of better ideas, because he knows what they really want, instead of what they think they want.
I'd imagine that when he comes to open all those presents, the missing Buzz won't even get noticed.

Unfortunately the buzz obsession started after we'd started the christmas shopping and we thought it would pass, like the postman pat, bob the builder, fireman sam and thomas obsession have.

It hasn't.

Yet 🙂

If it was me – I'd almost certainly buy him Buzz.
If it was jane – she'd say something like the other comments.

eeek I don't get the Buzz obsession. Maybe Santa couldn't find any so he decided to bring something he thought you would love even more!

Thanks for your comments, it seems to happen a lot! We can get Buzz, its just that he has a lot of other things. I can see both sides of the argument. A difficult one as he is only two, so I don't want to set him up for disappointments and I'm not sure that he would understand our more adult arguments. Humpf! Will defer to the hubby 🙂

It is the first christmas toddler boy will really understand and remember Christmas so I would get him a Buzz if you can. The magic of Father Christmas doesn't last long these days with kids sharing truths in the playground much earlier than I remember.
