Tesco sell some really reasonably priced fish so I ordered some mackerel fillets to go into the George Foreman Grill and and a nice salad to go with them. This was great and went down exceptionally well with the kids.
However, I must admit, that in terms of freshness this was probably the worst ever Internet shop I have done with Tesco as quite a few products such as tomatoes, strawberries chicken and lamb having only one day on them to eat. Big fail on the challenge I am afraid, and actually a total freakish occurrence as this has never happened with a Tesco shop before. That's the law of sod in action! Anyway, I negotiated with the delivery man on a couple of things and had them sent back and made use of the freezer. I should emphasise that this has not put me off Tesco as my experience of fresh food has always been consistently good up to this point.
In terms of quality of the food the lamb, fruit and fresh bread was exceptional and I think I will order a delivery for a Saturday morning so we can have fresh Tiger Bread for a breakfast treat. On line shopping is really the best option for busy parents and I think that in terms of price and quality you cant really go far wrong with Tesco.com.

I'd say online shopping is also environmentally good too. Lots of evidence to show it is less wasteful (as is shopping with a list) and it must be better to have one van doing twenty deliveries than the equivalent journey's in cars.
