Thus we found ourselves on holiday looking at rowing boat parking spaces and trying to get him to recognise the numbers properly. This took ages and didn't seem to really help. I've moved onto bribery, there's a Ben 10 omnitrix like his friend owns in it for him if he is successful. This seems to be having slightly greater success. He is quite mercenary. However, now I have discovered Star Wars Top Trumps. This appears to be the answer to the problem of teaching small boys numeracy. Lets hope we crack it now....
