Halloween Cooking with Dr Oetker

There is nothing Fifi likes more than a bit of cooking, so for a change I made daddy do it with her. Thanks to Dr Oetker who provided her with some Halloween kits this wasn't too daunting for the husband.

They made little iced cakes with special moon and star chocolate sprinkles. These were so yummy I found Fifi pouring them into her mouth at one point. Little mother like daughter.

They also had a go at baking what I have to say were the most delicious biscuits I think have been made from a mix in this house. The Halloween Bat Cookie Mix which comes with a little bat cutter which can be reused:

Finally the boy assisted them in making Halloween apples using the Halloween Apple Decorating kit. This proved a fun treat and actually something that could be adapted for kids parties fairly easily. I cant show you a picture because they ate them before I had a chance to take one!

All in all, a good father- daughter bonding experience with the added bonus of some scrummy food!

Wish I'd had that bat biscuit set. My little boy's birthday is on Halloween and all my biscuits are round (although suitably, if unintentionally, blackened).
