Our Tesco Real Food Gingerbread House

Earlier on in the week I mentioned that one of our projects was to make a Gingerbread House using the instructions on the Tesco Real Food website as they kindly provided the ingredients. Finally we made it yesterday. It was great fun and my kids aged 2 and 4 absolutely loved it. In fact they did everything apart from melt the butter and treacle themselves. This of course lead to some interesting decorating!

It was a great family activity and one that I can see becoming a Christmas tradition in our house. The instructions were really clear and the addition of boiled sweets to make stained glass windows was just genius. If you want to have a go you can find all the instructions here.
