Shhhh it’s a surprise holiday giveaway!
I'm pleased to be the first blog to announce Conscious Newborn, a new collection from H&M. It is made entirely from conscious materials, including those that are organic and free from chemical additives. The collection is in a nostalgic French style, with a separate wardrobe for baby girls and boys. There are also some extras, such as a newborn’s first teddy, a mouse-shaped rattle, and a floral printed blanket.
Conscious is H&M’s initiative to show that sustainable fashion is longevity, which means this Newborn collection makes even more sense. The range is part of H&M’s initiatives for a sustainable fashion future, with Conscious collections appearing across H&M’s ranges to show the breadth and value of sustainability in fashion both today and tomorrow. As such, I very much approve.
The Conscious Newborn collection will be available exclusively online on the 27th of December. Two of you will win an outfit from the collection, perfect if like me you are expecting a new little one, or maybe a friend or relative is.
To enter the give-away all you have to do is leave a comment telling me why you deserve to win below by mid-day on the 1st January, @zooarchaeologis on twitter, or post on my Facebook wall with a nomination for a new or expecting Mum who deserves surprise holiday gift from H&M Newborn. Of course, you can self-nominate!

I'm going to nominate my lovely Friend Kelly, who gave birth to little Lily on Boxing day! after pre eclampsia (however you spell it), a traumatic labour resulting in an emergency c section and Lily not breathing when she came out, I think they deserve something scrummy to unwrap in the new year... alice_baillie@hotmail.co.uk @baillie_mylife

I wish to nominate my baby sister who discovered she was expecting her baby boy (due in feb) at 24 weeks gone. As a result she doesn't have much! She's just 17 but still goes to sixth form and gets her head down and studies. She will make a fantastic mum and I would love to help her get all them special little bits but as a mum of three i just cant afford to. Here name is Charlotte (twitter @char17_2011)
