I love Dairy Milk, its my all time favourite chocolate and I'm not at all ashamed to say it. It's affordable, delicious and there is something genuinely comforting about it. Anyway, the other day I was having one of those typical up and down days you have with children. You know, the ones where the kids delight you, then drive you mad, then delight you, and then you have to do the school run and you start feeling a little suicidal. The postman arrived with a package. On opening I found this:
A large bar of Dairy Milk, with my name on it! Being the sort of person I am, I looked at it with confusion. It was such a brilliant gift I wondered if I should actually eat it or frame it. In fact, I was so perplexed by this conundrum I sought the advice of my personal friends on Facebook. They confirmed that eating it all was the right thing to do. That's when I realised that the brilliant thing about it is that the part with my name on was actually a slide off wrapper, which as the husband pointed out he could re-use (mean/ thrifty or environmentally aware?). So, in essence I got the best of both worlds.
Brilliant, nay genius PR stunt that this is, the team at Dairy Milk have decided that everyone should be able to experience the joy of their own named bar of Dairy Milk all you need to do is go over to their Joyville Made website and you can make your own!
Even better than that though, Cadbury Joyville have kindly offered three readers of Being a Mummy the chance to win their own personalised bar of chocolate. All you need to do is to leave me a comment telling me who your favourite character is in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and don't forget to leave a Twitter id or email so I can contact you.
The closing date is 27th February at noon UK time. One entry per household please and there are no cash alternatives.
