Mothers Day Quick and Easy Craft Idea

I'm realistic in our household, there's not a lot of opportunity or inclination to do elaborate Mothers Day gifts. Also, lets be honest here, the crafting abilities of pre-schoolers is not up there with Kirstie Alsopp is it. So, I present to you my quick and easy, dirt cheap Mothers Day idea. Terracotta flower pot painting:

1. Go to Garden Centre and buy pot and let your toddler choose a nice little plant. Primroses are cheap, cheerful and lovely, as are Narcissus

2. Acquire some pearlised poster paint (this will just look nice)

3. Crack open the PVA and the glitter

4. Add small child to the mix....

My boys made these at Beevers once, they are a great idea, I am thinking of running a few craft afternoons here at Coombemill, these would be a perfect activity. Thanks.
