Book Review: Monster Be Good pictures by Natalie Marshall

29th April 2013 No Comments

There is nothing I like more than introducing concepts to my children in a very subtle manner and I quite often look for books to enable me to do this. Monster Be Good is a fab book for just this sort of thing as it is presented as an instruction manual for dealing with your Monster. For example,  ‘If a monster is noisy whisper in its ear, “BE QUIET!”‘

This is a lovely book, full of really subtle messages which you can use to discuss things with your children when they are naughty.  It also has some great illustrations of monsters. We all really loved the feel of the book. I think its  a real credit to Blue Apple Books that they manage to find such amazingly illustrated books to publish and this is another little gem.

You can get hold of your own copy here, I’d say its really helpful if you have a little pre-schooler.
