Not long now till the royal baby pops out and life in Britain is never the same again. Think, endless new reports of the baby learning to walk, going to school, choosing and attending university to look forward to. Or maybe not depending on press privacy laws. My money is on it being a girl, especially after all that morning sickness.
Our favourite nappy brand Pampers is encouraging the nation to join in and celebrate the birth of the royal baby for a great cause. They want you to share your good wishes and support via Twitter #babyblanket and http://www.pampers.co.uk/babyblanket over the next two weeks.
In a stroke of genius, they will be knitting all these messages into the world’s largest baby blanket and doing it live at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush between 18- 21 July. You can catch up with the attempt by having a look at the live stream at http://www.pampers.co.uk/babyblanket. Live knitting, fabulous, I don’t know if that has ever been attempted before!
The best thing about the campaign is that for every message of support Pampers will be donating a nappy to Home-Start UK which is an amazing family support charity providing help to young families. It’s a really worthwhile charity and makes a big difference to lives here in the UK.
Our message of support?: We wish you (royal baby) as much joy, fun and love in their lives as we have!
