Book Review: How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth by Michelle Robinson and Kate Hindley

7th August 2013 No Comments

This book tackles that Ice Age old problem of how to wash your woolly mammoth. Being quite keen on literature which talks about mammoths I was very keen to read this book with the kids and I must admit I wouldn’t have hesitated in buying it from the bookshop.

Washing a woolly mammoth is quite a problematic task as this frankly hilarious book demonstrates. The kids were most amused and I have to admit, its something which when you think about it can lead to lots of other stories and much discussion amongst readers. I love books which do this.

Nicely illustrated this is another perfect read for 3- 7 year olds, brilliant for both boys and girls they cant fail to be amused by the ridiculous conundrum presented and how to overcome them. Any book which includes the gem of knowledge which everyone should know: ‘When all else fails there is always cake.’ Gets a massive thumbs up from me.

I love it, the kids love it. You’ll find out more here
