Lovely Stationery from Smiggle

I don’t know if its because I’m at home most of the time now requiring lots of stationery for household paperwork and craft activities with the children, but I’ve developed a real love of nice stationery. This isn’t the best thing for de-cluttering as I find myself in our local stationery shop buying more shaped paperclips because I really do need some to add to the 4 million we already own.

The other day I heard the best news for a lover of nice stationery and craft things, Australian brand Smiggle are coming to the UK! The first of their UK stores to open is going to be at Westfield Stratford on 20th February. This will be followed by further store launches in Reading, Brighton and Kingston. Smiggle are a brilliant brand who sell really bright colourful stationery and accessories, perfect for children and also the ideal answer to those tricky birthday gift conundrums.

My children were challenged to do some crafting and drawing using only Smiggle stationery, it was a great challenge for me because it kept them quiet for a very long time. I’ve taken images of them using the stuff rather than the results because frankly, they did lots and lots of pictures. The only problem will all this stationery is that I’m really jealous of the stuff they got given, I wonder if I can sneak it away for myself…
