This is an adorable book about a cat called Oscar who loves to dance. I sat down with my children and we read through it once and then we made use of spotify to discover all the different sorts of music which Oscar Cat likes to dance to. Our conclusion was that Samba was the most fun followed by Fox Trot!
If you like books which inspire your kids to learn something new or find something out then this is an ideal choice. I can really say that it lead to a whole afternoon of dancing, laughing and general fun and we all learnt about different types of music.
Joanna Boyle has beautifully illustrated this book and my children fell in love with Oscar who looks particularly cute curled up for his nap.
If your children enjoy strictly (mine love it), this would be a perfect book to get hold of before the new series starts. We liked it a lot!
