A while back we went to the launch of the newly updated Miffy books. The new books have a more contemporary feel to the language and poet Tony Mitton has done a fantastic job making the stories more relevant and accessible.
I thought I’d flag up some new books in the series which have just come out. In particular Miffy and the New Baby which has little Ned spellbound. I’ve found him ‘independently’ reading this several times this week. I think that sums up the brilliance of these books, Dick Bruna’s vivid illustrations are perfect for little tiny tots and the words add another dimension for older children.
You’ll also find a range of paperback books, colouring, sticker and activity books in perfect time for the summer holidays. We love Miffy, I have done ever since I was little and its brilliant to see them being enjoyed by children.
