Book Review: Penguin and Pumpkin by Salina Yoon

5th October 2014 No Comments

Penguin is one of our literary friends, we love his sweet little adventures. Especially, it has to be said,
Penguin in Love which is one of the few children’s books which features knitting. Penguin and Pumpkin is an enchanting sorry which focusses on Penguins relationship with Pumpkin, Penguin’s little brother. This is a story which really struck a chord with my children as they have a little brother who is too young to go on certain adventures with them and who they try to involve as much as they can.

This delightful tale takes Penguin and Bootsy on an autumn adventure and Pumpkin on a space-tacular adventure. Filled with Salina Yoon’s adorable quirky illustrations and an autumn theme which is absolutely perfect for this time of year I think your little ones will also enjoy this story.

If you want a story which isn’t scary this might also be perfect for Halloween!

You’ll find more information here on the publisher’s website.
