the burp that saved the worldThe mustard boys are two boys who get into trouble for burping all the time, then aliens invade, it could be a disaster. The boys have a solution- their burps. My three year old found this absolutely hilarious, if you want an interactive bedtime reading session full of burping, laughs and fun then this is the book for you. On reflection I might save it for afternoon reading as it really did over excite the three year old.

Over excitement about a book though is not a bad thing at all, this book has brilliant rhyming text and imagination in bucket loads. With colourful graphic illustrations it is clearly appealing to early years children, although the six and eight year old enjoyed it as well. Without doubt it is books like this which can spark a child’s desire to enjoy books and read them, i’m looking forward to seeing more!
