The Bumblebear is about a bear who loves honey and hatches a cunning plot to get his hands on some by making friends with bees and going to bee school.
This is a fun read which has proved very popular for a bedtime story since it arrived. My four year old really enjoyed the plot twists and we have read it so often he is now predicting them. I think this is probably a good thing for his literacy!
It’s lovely to find a picture book which is a really original story. To see that the author illustrated it herself means that its completely her vision and we have entered her story entirely.
The kids love this book, i’ve enjoyed it a lot and it deserves its spot on our bookshelf.
