About Me

I’m a thirty six year old mum to three energetic little people: a boy who is four and a half, a girl who is three and a baby who was born on New Years Day.  In my other life, I am an archaeologist with a speciality in bone identification and a museum curator. I muddle through life in St Albans, Hertfordshire, looking for holes in the street on the off-chance I can find any treasure, but mainly to prevent  the buggy getting stuck.

This blog started off as a record of my experiences of having a very demanding baby who held his breath, passed out and drove me to despair. It was an escape for me and a way of sharing my experiences. Now I have three children, some tropical fish and a husband. They all require a lot of feeding. I am lucky enough to occasionally get the chance to test and review baby products and you'll find some of the reviews here and some at Mummy Reviews.

I hope you enjoy the spirit of this blog, much of it is written with my slightly dark sense of humour, but none of it is intended to be offensive to anyone. It is mainly a record of our life, intended to gift to the children when they are grown up. Proof that Being a Mummy is actually the hardest job on earth, but that I have tried my best!
