A little boy called George goes on an adventure with a tin of spaghetti with the aim to eat it with a Yeti. Along the way he comes across several monsters all offering advice on what the monster might want to eat. Its a wonderful rhyming story which makes it a joy to read and perfect for bedtime. It also reinforces some of the literary concepts they learn at this age.
It’s great when a book sparks off creative ideas and we enjoyed the illustrations and the names of the monsters in this book and it did give us some ideas for making our own monsters. There was also an interesting discussion about what other food stuffs might be eaten by different creatures. all good fun!
