If you are in the market for a book for a two year old then look no further! My Mummy Says is a lovely board book which reinforces all the things which mummy’s do and also rather unusually combines these into a little story which also approaches the theme of making friends.
Both Ned who is two and Fifi who is five enjoyed looking at this book with me and then talking about going to the beach and making friends. I also enjoyed reading it to them because it was about mummy’s.
The illustrations by Angie Stevens are lovely in a whimsical way and reminded me of ones from books when I was little. Have a look at Angie Stevens beautiful blog which has to be one of the most visually impressive you’ll find.
I have a copy of this book to give away. Just tell me the most important bit of advice your mum has given you.
